Ripple’s Competitive Intelligence Program is designed to ensure that Ripple’s leaders and employees remain current on industry trends and market developments by providing timely information, analysis and actionable insights. Such intelligence is pivotal in shaping the company's strategy, product roadmap, investments among other decisions at a corporate level.  


  • Develop and share a deep understanding of blockchain-powered businesses by synthesizing technology, regulatory and business perspectives to drive actionable insights that are relevant to Ripple’s business
  • Conduct analysis on industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats for Ripple and share findings through different communication channels
  • Present findings from competitive intel analysis to various Ripple audiences
  • Engage Ripple leaders and subject matter experts to identify key competitive intel topics worthy of research and analysis
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., product, marketing, corp dev, etc.) to translate insights into real actions to support the business
  • Manage competitive intelligence resources
  • Build strong industry connections to gain first-row seat to the latest discussions in the crypto/blockchain/payments world
  • Attend key industry events on behalf of Ripple to gain timely industry intelligence and network with key industry players
  • Initiate and support thought-leadership across the crypto/blockchain industry to position Ripple as an industry crypto/thought-leader.


  • 10+ years of work experience related to market intelligence and industry research (ideally in the crypto, fintech and financial services industries), coupled with business/operational experience in fast-paced startup and entrepreneurial environments
  • A strong interest, curiosity and experience in institutional digital assets / crypto markets. Familiarity with the payments industry, a plus
  • Ability to develop evidence-based research, going beyond ‘desk’ research and leveraging business and financial skillset
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly with translating data/ complex concepts towards actionable insights that can be easily understood by a general business audience
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to explain insights through numbers
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across a highly-matrix organization
  • Ability to work under time pressure and consistently produce high quality work
  • Ability to interact and represent Ripple at industry events
  • Strong industry connections in the crypto and blockchain community
  • Ability to travel frequently for internal meetings, offsites and external events as necessary
  • Strong presence across key communication channels used by crypto enthusiasts today, including and not limited to Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Reddit etc.
For positions that will be based in NY, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.

$169,936$212,420 USD
