THE WORK:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect for Financial Systems to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our financial technology stack. This key role will cover the full spectrum of financial systems, including ERP Fusion Cloud, EPM Cloud, integrations, analytics, and emerging crypto-related products. You will work closely with the Finance, IT, Treasury, Data Engineering and Accounting teams, as well as systems implementers and software providers to ensure our finance systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for our rapidly evolving business needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Architectural Strategy and Design:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive architectural strategy for the financial systems, encompassing ERP Fusion Cloud, EPM Cloud, integrations, analytics, and crypto-related technologies.
  • Design robust, scalable financial processes that meet the company’s current needs and future growth.
  • Lead the architecture and design of integrations between finance systems, ensuring seamless data flow and automation across platforms.

System Implementation and Optimization:

  • Serve as the technical lead for the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud and other key financial systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements, utilizing best practices to optimize our finance and accounting systems.
  • Oversee system upgrades, ensuring new features and updates are effectively integrated into the existing environment.

Integration and Data Management:

  • Serve as the technical lead for the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud and other key financial systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements, utilizing best practices to optimize our finance and accounting systems.
  • Oversee system upgrades, ensuring new features and updates are effectively integrated into the existing environment.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Architect and implement data analytics and reporting solutions, providing insights that support strategic financial decision-making.
  • Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to define reporting requirements and develop dashboards, KPIs, and other analytics tools.
  • Crypto-Related Product Integration:
  • Lead the integration of crypto-related products into the financial systems architecture, ensuring alignment with current financial workflows and compliance standards.    Collaborate with the crypto product teams to understand emerging technologies and assess their impact on financial systems.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Finance Systems Director, and other cross-functional teams(Audit, IT, Accounting, Data Engineering, Crypto Platform team, Banks) to ensure alignment on system architecture and project priorities.
  • Guide, mentor, and build a high-performing finance systems team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure all financial systems are compliant with SOX and other regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect financial data.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  • Proven experience in financial systems architecture and implementation, with a strong background in Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, Oracle Fusion EPM Cloud, Oracle Integrations Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Billing Platform, Treasury Management Systems, FX Loader, Vertex, Oanda, Navan and Zip.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex financial system integrations using middleware platforms (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft).
  • In-depth understanding of core finance processes, including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report,  Fusion Accounting Hub, Risk Management Cloud(AFC and AAC), Security and Controls, Revenue Recognition.
  • Strong experience with data governance, analytics, and financial reporting solutions.
  • Knowledge of crypto technologies and how they intersect with traditional financial systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent architecturals skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. 
CA Annual Base Salary Range
$107,000$134,000 USD
