Partnership brings together stablecoins, payments, liquidity, custody, and prime brokerage across DriveWealth’s global financial infrastructure
SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK, October 14, 2026 — DriveWealth, a global Brokerage-as-a-Service platform powering the infrastructure for modern investing and trading, announced a partnership with Ripple, the leading provider of blockchain solutions across traditional and digital finance, to modernize how money moves, settles, and is managed across DriveWealth's global investing infrastructure and accelerate DriveWealth’s move to digital financial rails.
Global access to financial markets has transformed dramatically, but the infrastructure moving money behind those transactions has not kept pace. U.S. equities now settle on a T+1 basis, while moving dollars across borders can take longer, creating a mismatch that can trap capital, increase funding requirements, and make it harder for financial institutions and fintechs to scale efficiently.
Ripple and DriveWealth are working across several areas to expand digital asset capabilities across DriveWealth’s financial infrastructure, including:
- Stablecoin settlement: DriveWealth is integrating Ripple’s stablecoin infrastructure to support settlement in Europe, with plans to expand to the U.S. The integration will leverage RLUSD on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), alongside Ripple mint and burn capabilities.
- Payments: DriveWealth is integrating Ripple Payments to support cross-border acceptance from its global partners, helping streamline how funds move into DriveWealth across markets.
- Custody: DriveWealth is working with Ripple to support its digital asset custody needs in Europe, with plans to expand to additional markets over time.
- Equity financing: DriveWealth and Ripple Prime are exploring opportunities across equity financing through Ripple Prime’s Delta One business, which expands its institutional capabilities across U.S. equities and equity derivatives.
The collaboration brings Ripple’s suite of blockchain solutions into DriveWealth’s brokerage infrastructure, creating a more unified experience across traditional and digital assets. DriveWealth clients can instantly fund and manage their collateral accounts using stablecoins that convert to cash in near real time instead of waiting on a bank wire. For international clients that currently plan around cross-border transfer windows and cutoff times, it means capital can move when it’s needed – supporting faster settlement, more efficient use of capital and always-on access to global markets.
"We've already enabled 24/5 trading; now we need the funding to match, so clients can move with the markets instead of waiting for them," said Naureen Hassan, Chief Executive Officer of DriveWealth. "Our partnership with Ripple empowers us to extend the same funding, and custody experience our clients already rely on to stablecoins and digital assets, so their capital keeps working around the clock instead of sitting idle overnight or over a weekend. It's another step toward making DriveWealth a true global, unified, always-on access point to the markets our clients want to reach."
DriveWealth is also bringing its treasury and custody infrastructure onto Ripple's rails, giving clients one real-time view of their money — in dollars, stablecoins, or crypto — and the ability to move between them as needed.
“DriveWealth came to Ripple with a specific challenge around cross-border settlement, but it quickly became clear there was an opportunity to do much more together,” said Jack McDonald, SVP of Stablecoins at Ripple. “By integrating Ripple’s full product suite into DriveWealth, we’re modernizing how money moves and is supported across trading, custody and settlement.”
DriveWealth powers investing experiences for more than 100 partners globally, providing the brokerage infrastructure that enables fintechs, digital wallets and financial institutions to offer access to U.S. markets. Together with Ripple’s more than a decade of experience building blockchain solutions for financial institutions and global regulatory footprint spanning more than 85 licenses, the partnership will create a foundation to introduce new digital asset capabilities across DriveWealth’s global network.
The companies will discuss the partnership in a fireside chat at Ripple Swell on Wednesday, October 28, in New York City.
